Stu Harrison was born and raised in South-western Ontario and educated through the Suzuki Method, the Royal Conservatory, and the University of Toronto . He currently holds 2 music degrees (B.Mus, A.R.C.T.) He is currently involved with The Second City in Toronto , playing for the long-running Tony 'n Tina's Wedding (musical), as well as the Loraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People where he is the keyboardist for Jacob Two-Two and the Hooded Fang . He is also the Music Director / Writer for Garden Bros. Circus of Canada .

Stu Harrison Music was started approximately two years ago to accommodate a growing demand for well-organized, dependable, high-caliber live music in Ontario . Every group which operates under the SHM banner is given coaching and thorough instructions on how to make every event as successful as possible. In over one hundred engagements, not once has there been a cancellation, a late arrival, any reports of un-professional conduct, or an inattention to detail on behalf of our musicians. We strive to deliver on the specific demands of every client, and there is no job too small or too big.

Currently, Stu Harrison Music regularly employs 4 separate groups of musicians. The Stu Harrison Trio, The SHM Duo, The Urban Cowboys (All-Round Dance), Fusion (Rock), Quadra (R&B/Jazz). The range of clients that these four groups satisfy is wide: Toronto Clubs, weddings, private functions, Corporate (Cadillac, HBC, Can.Tire etc.) and restaurant/theatre.

As well, Stu Harrison Music offers chart and scoring services, transcription services, as well as instruction in computer related software.
